I highly recommend Sam, Sri Lankan guide from Kandy.
He did everything he could to make our (surf) trip easy and stress-free from day one. We changed our plans a lot during our stay, and he was very flexible and understanding.
He knows his country well and wants you to feel at home there. He adapts to all types of trips. He is kind, funny, accommodating, discreet, and has a sunny energy. He is a pure soul. You can trust him with your eyes closed.
He doesn’t try to sell you anything or take advantage of you by taking you somewhere. He listens to your desires and needs. He even calls his friends to get the best deals or ask for advice (he has friends in every region) and tries to negotiate accommodation rates for you (when it’s not through Booking and Airbnb).
