My first visit to Sri Lanka was in 2019. Sam met me at the airport and made sure I was transported safely to my hotel. He was a very gracious guide to me during my stay over the next 10 days. He took me to all the great locations in Sri Lanka. He is a very honest and caring person and will surely make the most out of your stay.
We really didnโt need to worry at all. Sam made our first 9 days in Sri Lanka far better than we ever expected. He took us to places we would never have found on our own and was always full of great knowledge and helpful advice. One of the highlights was visiting his own family spice garden in Kandy, which was amazing to experience
He is a truly wonderful conversationalist, and he can tell you about his country, its beautiful corners, customs and life here. Sam was great! We were a family group of three adults and he took us from Kandy to Sigiriya and to a number of places over the course of three days. We really liked him from when we first messaged him as his English was great, he was not pushy and his prices were really fair. Once we met him we found that he is a good driver, with a kind soul and great sense of humour. He is intelligent and we had conversations (in English) about everything from the local area, to politics to family to religion. He completely understood and shared my daughter’s love for dogs and this was an added bonus on the trip. Nothing was too much for him and to be honest we were honoured to have met him!
